Patsy Ann (Taulbee) Brown, 86, of Bedford, KY, born on August 9, 1935 in Whitesburg, KY to Robert and Roseanna (Miller) Taulbee, passed away on January 6, 2022 in Lagrange, KY from a sudden illness. Patsy was the one of the hardest working people you could ever meet and no matter the task at hand, she never cut corners. She was an extremely valuable employee; spending nearly half a century with only two employers: GC Murphy Co. (later named Ames) and then the Kroger Co. until she retired in her late 70’s. Not only a loyal employee, she was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Patsy loved cooking good ole southern food and when you were at her house, she would always try to feed you. In her prime, she and her late husband, Monroe, enjoyed attending church, tending to their garden and canning vegetables. She definitely had a green thumb and took great pride in her flowers. Patsy was quite a special lady and will be deeply missed by so many people. She is survived by daughters: Teresa Perkins of Middletown, OH, Rosemary (Roger) Moore of Somerville, OH; son: Ambers (Pam) Brown of Bedford, KY; sisters: Mary Ruth Dunn, Sue (Donnie) Sturgill, Dorothy Taulbee; brother: Patrick Taulbee; sister-in-law (who was like a daughter): Oney Roberts; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband: Monroe Brown; son: Robert “Moe” Brown; daughter: Lora Jane Rose; granddaughter: Rebecca Perkins; three sisters; and five brothers. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13 from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 1500 Manchester Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042 with a funeral immediately afterward at 1:30 pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
