Perdue, Paul M., age 84, of Trenton, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born May 18, 1933 in Jackson, KY to Clayton and Linda (Fletcher) Perdue. He served our country in the Korean War in the US Marines in Easy Company 2nd Battalion 7th Marine 1st Marine Division with an honorable discharge. He was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was an ORE Bridge Operator at Armco Steel Company for 42 years. Paul was a member of Eagles, enjoyed playing poker, feeding birds and squirrels, and was an avid Reds and UK Basketball Fan. Paul is survived by his children, Linda Mattingly, Mark (Lisa) Perdue, Lisa (Jim) Kohler, Paula (Tim) Cox, Penney Butt; step-son, Jeff (Brenda) Litton; grandchildren, Sam &Max Mattingly, Christopher & Allison Perdue, Bobbie Vunak and Adam Kohler, Kelsie Cox; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eunice (Roy) Roe, Martha LaBarge; brother, Daniel Carl Perdue; sister-in-law, Vergie Taulbee; step-grandchildren. Brittney (Tyler) Wier, Casey (Matt) Tripp. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Lynn Perdue; sisters, Marie Chapman, Georgia Deaton; brothers, Menifee Taulbee and Dana Taulbee, Hershell Perdue; son-in-law, Jay Mattingly. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, OH 45042. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
