Porter Tolson

Porter L. Tolson, 89 years old, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Otterbein Middletown. He has lived in Middletown for most of his life. He was born on April 7, 1932 to Courtney and Elizabeth (Culbertson) Tolson in Wolfe County, Ky. After 44 years of working at Aeronca as a tool clerk, he retired in 1994. He had a passion for fishing. After he retired, he decided cats were ok too.

Porter is survived by his wife, Mary Lee (Smith) Tolson, children; Debbie Curtis, Terri (Larry) Patton, Diana (Jim) Habuda, Joyce Tolson, and Markus Tolson, grandchildren; Aundrea (Brandon), Alaura (Dustin), James, George, Stephen, Michael, Sara, Lauren, great-grandchildren; Clayton, Jackson, and Nathan, and brother; Emerson Tolson. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Fred, William and Paul Tolson, sisters; Mary Peck, Opal Bolin, Maxine Wilson, Garnett Neal, and Ada Shackelford, and son Rev. Tony Curtis

A Family visitation will be held Friday, May 28 from 12:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home 6850 Roosevelt Ave, Middletown. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery following the visitation. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
