Richard Joseph McLaughlin

Richard Joseph McLaughlin, age 78 of Middletown, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1945 in Asheville, NC to Joseph and Elizabeth (Calloway) McLaughlin. He was a Crane Operator for Armco retiring after 33 years of dedicated work. He loved going to cruise-ins and Sprint car races. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Bobbie McLaughlin; sons, Richard (Amy) McLaughlin Jr. and Rodney (Angela) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Tyler (Paige Tackett) McLaughlin, Katie McLaughlin, Kara McLaughlin, and Kailey McLaughlin; sister, Rita (Bill) Mers-Kelly; brother, Michael (Teresa) McLaughlin, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave. Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the Funeral Home at 1:00 PM. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
