Roy E. Wilham III, age 82 of Trenton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2018. He was born on February 22, 1936 in Danville, Kentucky to parents Roy and Clara Carter Wilham. He graduated from Danville High School, attended the University of Alabama, Centre College, and LaSalle Law School. Roy served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a Kentucky State Trooper and spent 37 as an Insurance Claims Adjuster for several insurance companies. He closed his career as Director of Claims for Northwestern National Insurance Co. Roy was a Kentucky Colonel, a Mason, an American Legion Member and an avid University of Kentucky basketball and football fan. He coached for many years in Trenton Ponytail Softball league. He was a Charter Member of the Trenton Church of Christ, a mission of Parkway Church of Christ which is now Spring Hill Church of Christ, where he served as an Elder. He served on Trenton City Council for 20 years, 16 of those years as the Mayor of Trenton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy E. Wilham Jr. and Clara Carter Wilham. Roy is survived by his wife Mary Kennedy Wilham of 57 years. Daughters Tracy Wilham Mason, Kathleen (Mark) Briscoe, and Kelly R. Wilham. Grandchildren Zach Briscoe, Emily Briscoe, JG Mason, and Mary Page Mason. Visitation will be at Spring Hill Church of Christ, 2021 Brell Drive, Middletown, Ohio from 4:00 – 7:30 pm on Wednesday, October 17, 2018. A service will follow visitation on Wednesday, 7:30 pm with Richard Ginn and Bob Stacy doing the eulogy. The burial at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. We would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses, and aides at the Hospice of Butler and Warren County. Your love and care for our father and family was very humbling.
