Samuel "Sam" Blevins

Sam Blevins, age 71 of Trenton, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born March 14, 1951 in Middletown, OH to Paul and Freida (Brown) Blevins. He was a crane operator for AK Steel for 30 years. Sam met the love of his life Janet (Witt) Blevins February 2, 1962. They were married June 9th, 1969 and renewed their vows June 9, 2019. He was a member of Poasttown First Church of God. He loved to spend time with his family, liked muscle cars, and guns. Sam is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet Blevins; beloved daughter, Cindy (Bobby) Pelfrey; cherished grandchildren, Brack Blevins, Holly (Steven) Jones, Bobby (Micah) Pelfrey; precious great-grandchildren, Stevie Jones, Scarlett Jones, and Maci Lynn Pelfrey; beloved sister, Donna (Tom) Moore, and faithful fur companions, Zoey, Bowie, and Lexie. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Brack Kimble Blevins; in-laws, Morice and Margaret Witt, and best friends, Dallas Retherford and Harley Vice.
