Sebastian James Shawhan

Sebastian James Joseph Shawhan, 2 ½ years of age, passed away suddenly on Friday, June 26, 2020.  He was born to Michael and Kate Shawhan on November 17, 2017.  As a young child, Sebastian’s first word was the holy name of Jesus.  Now, he is standing face to face with Our Lord in Heaven.  One of his favorite pastimes was to play around with his brothers and sisters.  He brought tremendous joy to his parents and always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s faces.  Sebastian was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Daniel Veitkus, and his two paternal aunts: Sister Maria Dolorosa Shawhan and Regina Shawhan.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Andrew, William, Monica, Gabriel, Mary, Christopher, Robert, Damian, and John.  His loving grandparents, Carol Veitkus and Gerald and Marian Shawhan now share in the sorrow with their children.  He was also loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Visitation for the public will be held on Tuesday, June 30th, from 5pm-9pm with Rosary at 8:45pm at Baker – Stevens - Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005.  An Angel Mass will be on Wednesday, July 1st, at 10:00am, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2310 Robertson Avenue, Norwood, OH 45212.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
