Sharynne "Sherry" Marie Tibbs

Sharynne M. (Carr) Tibbs, 72, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023 at the Respiratory and Nursing Center of Dayton, Ohio. Sherry was born in Marceline, Missouri on June 6, 1950, to the late Donald and Marie Carr. Sherry was a 1968 graduate of Union City (IN) High School and earned her nursing degree from Middletown Hospital School of Nursing. Sherry was a Registered Nurse and worked most of her career in the emergency department at Middletown (Atrium) Hospital. Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, R.T. Tibbs, her parents and her brother Charlie Carr. She is survived by her brothers Jim (Mary) Carr, John (Valerie) Carr and Joe (Jill) Carr; nephews Chad Carr, Chris Carr, Steven Carr and Jeremy Langston; nieces Rebekah Blake, Jessica Faghihi, Alison Williams and Amy Counts. Sherry loved spending time with her nephews and nieces. She especially enjoyed giving them extra-special gifts at holidays and birthdays. This tradition carried on to her great nieces and nephews. She loved camping, fishing and going to Florida with good friends. She cherished the time spent with her great-nieces and nephews. Sherry is loved and will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever. Services in the care of Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home.
