Shirley Faye Majors

Shirley F. Majors, age 81, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Hospice of Butler & Warren.  She was born September 4, 1938 to Arnold “Pete” & Exie (Lawson) Daniels in Middletown, OH.  She was a medical assistant for Dr. Ridge for 16 years, retiring in 1999. Back in the 50’s, she worked for Aeronca on a special assignment with special clearance on the Apollo Space Program.  She enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds, the Bengals, and was a fan of all sports. She was always the team Mom for all the Knothole sports. She was a member of Yankee Road Church of God and loved to watch old movies.  Shirley is survived by her sons, Donald (Jo) Majors and David Majors; daughters, Jill Majors and Julie Stacy all of Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Rachel (Keith), Amanda, Holly, Ashley (Chris), Austin (Lauren), Karleigh and Garrett; 13 great grandchildren; several cousins and many friends.  She is preceded in death by her parents and son-in-laws, John Settles and Jerry Stacy.  Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave.  The Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com
