Tona Louise Gentry

Tona Louise Gentry, age 57 of Middletown, Ohio went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She passed at Atrium Medical Center on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born July 19, 1964 to George Allen and Helen (Nance) Hayes in Ashland, Kentucky. She worked for Kroger as the Assistant Produce Buyer for 13 years. Tona was a member of Crosspointe Church of Christ. She loved serving her church and spreading the word of God. She had many hobbies including painting, line dancing, pottery, and photography. She loved listening to Southern Gospel Music. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and traveling with her family. Tona is survived by her loving husband of 16 years, Willie Gentry Jr., children; Jeremiah Dale Vires, Jacob Andrew Vires, Whitney Kay Gentry, and Cortney Nicole Gentry, grandchildren; Jayden Flores, Madi Rose Tompkins, Kohen Tompkins, brother; Foster (Deborah) Hayes, sister; Debra Matthews, mother and father-in-law; Willie (Beulah) Gentry, brother-in-laws, Donald Gentry and Jimmie (Tonja) Gentry, sister-in-laws; Debbie (Steven) Kemper and Amie Gentry, nieces; Heather Dailey and Crystal Hayes, nephews; Jim Dailey and Josh Hayes, plus numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Crosspointe Church of Christ, 5630 Ohio 122, Middletown, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Scott Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be directed to Crosspointe Church of Christ.
