Viola Bendel

Viola Bendel, age 78 of Franklin, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021 at her residence. She was born May 13, 1943 in Combs, KY to Canie and Doris Walters. She was a homemaker who had an avid love for Bingo, Kentucky Wildcats and Nascar. Viola is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Gerald Bendel; cherished children, Tammy (Joe) Hill, Gerald Bendel Jr., John (Anna) Bendel; beloved grandchildren, James, Jenny, Rob, Hank, Katie, Leon, Ian, Julia; precious great-grandchildren, Lydia, Alyssa, Eli, Grady, Peyton, Henry, Ella, Leo, Cohen, Kai; beloved siblings, Helen, Bud, Mary, Delores, Charlie, and Gene. She is preceded in death by her loving parents and 3 sisters, Ina, Bobbie, and June. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
