Wayne Charles Tipton

Tipton, Wayne Charles, 71, of Middletown, Ohio, peacefully went to be with the Lord at 10:44 p.m., Friday, October 20, 2017. He was born April 18, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to LaVerne (Dasch) and Charles Tipton. He is survived by the love of his life, his sweet loving wife, Judith Tipton. Wayne was a devoted husband to his adoring wife Judy and a dedicated member at his church, Tender Mercies Ministries. He also was a volunteer with community involvement serving a nursing home ministry and Hope House. Wayne had a heart for the homeless and was an avid fisherman but one of his most proud hobbies was to be like Jesus; a Fisher of men. Wayne also served his country in the U.S Army. Surviving are his children; Shawn, David, Angel, step-daughters; Francis, Jewell and Catherine and his siblings; Russell, David, Sharon, Tim and Paula, in-laws, family and friends, and a dear friend, Mary Jane. A Celebration of Life will be held at Tender Mercies Ministries located at 1430 Oxford State Road, Middletown, Ohio 45044, on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, from 11am-1pm. The funeral will immediately follow at 1 pm with officiating Pastor, Larry Hayes. Reception immediately following the funeral at the same location.
