Centers, William T., age 80, of Middletown, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1937 in Middletown, OH to Arkill and Odie (Whiteman) Centers. He served our country in the US Army during the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was a slitter operator for Miami Packaging for 45 ½ years, retiring in 2002.William was a member of VFW #3809, American Legion #218 and was a avid bowler for the VFW team. William is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Dorothy (McGuire) Centers of 57 ½ years; children, William D. Centers, Vincent Centers, Michael (Jennifer) Centers, Mark (Shelly) Centers, & Lisa (Eric) Henson; grandchildren, Alisha (Adam Anderson) Henson, Jacob Henson, Brooke and Jack Centers; great-grandchildren, Easton Ensor and Oakley Anderson; sisters, Delma Bok, Phyllis Johnson, Peggy (Ervin) Spencer; brothers, Andrew, Timothy, Glen (Donna) & Jerry Centers and a very close friend, Larry Sorrell. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Mitchell Ray Centers; brothers, James and Arkill Centers Jr.; sisters, Patti, Elma, Anna Centers & Wanda Perdue. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6th from 5-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005 with a Celebration of Life Service also at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 7th at 10:00 am with Rev. James Anderson officiating. Following the service a luncheon will be held at Alisha Henson home, 592 Fairview Drive, Carlisle, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
