William Clark Stitzel

Stitzel, William Clark, age 82, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born April 30, 1936 in Hamilton, OH to Earl and Gertude (Tice) Stitzel. William is survived by his wife of 61 years Nancy (Suplee) Stitzel; son, John (Kathy); daughters, Susan (Deb) and Jennifer (Joel); granddaughters, Melissa and Michelle; brother, Robert; sisters, Ann and Ruth. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and the University of Cincinnati. Bill worked as a Metallurgical Engineer for Armco Steel for 30 years. Bill was an avid golfer for many years at Wildwood Golf Club and proud member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge 501. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 2910 Central Avenue, Middletown, OH 45044. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Pastor Michael Isaacs officiating. Entombment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hamilton.
