Yvonne Denise Maggard, age 76, died peacefully surrounded by family on December 31, 2019
after a brief battle with liver cancer. Denise is survived by her daughters, Angela Adams (Johnie)
of Middletown, Ohio, and Kendra Fitzgerald (Kevin) of Cincinnati, Ohio; her grandchildren, Alex
and Katie Adams and Evelyn and Owen Fitzgerald; her aunt Mary England and cousin Bruce
England, both of Manchester, Tennessee, and her nieces Brittney Szugyi and Whittney England .
Denise was born on August 12, 1943 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Tom and Dorothy England.
She graduated from Amelia High School in 1961 and moved to Franklin, Ohio in 1972, where
she lived for forty-two years, raising her children and working various jobs to support her
family. Denise was a loving mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. An animal-lover, she enjoyed
nature, the beach, old movies, music, dancing, gardening, and spending time with her
grandchildren. Her family and friends will always remember her as a kind, generous, and
selfless person, who was always taking care of others, and always ready to lend a
non-judgmental ear to those in need. In lieu of flowers, Denise requested that trees be planted in her memory- in your own yard, community, or the US National Forests (https://www.alivingtribute.org). A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020 from noon until 2pm at Baker-Stevens-Paramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Ave., Middletown, Ohio. All are welcome to attend and honor and remember Denise’s life. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.bakerstevensparramore.com.
