Mary E. Ellis

Ellis, Mary, age 96, of Middletown, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. She was born June 8, 1920 in Middletown, Ohio to William and Della (Hoskins) Kirby. She was a cashier at A&P Grocery for 25 years. Mary was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother who loved to crochet. She was a very active member of Grace Baptist Church and supported Middletown Christian School. Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia (William) Seevers of Trenton, Judith (Vernon) Manning of Trenton, Janet (Harvey) Harris of Mason, Teresa Morrison of Trotwood , Kimberly (Robert) Ferguson Cartersville, GA; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to express their deepest love and appreciation to Rhonda Hart who loved and cared for Mary for the last 3 years. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Ellis; sister, Gladys Kirby; brothers William, Robert, John and Ralph Kirby. Visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2017 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at church with Dr. Max Fernandez officiating. Interment will be at Grace Memorial Gardens.
