I had known Merle since Fawn and Merle were very little children....I also knew Nadine and think very highly of her.....I always admired how Mr. Stethem brought his kids to church and was faithful to Breiel Church for so many years.

I WORKED WITH MERLE AT MIDDLETOWM P.D. FROM 1969 AND HE WAS A GOOD OFFICER. A GOOD FRIEND AND HE ALWAYS WAS THERE FOR HIS MEN . I FELT THE DEPARTMENT NEVER KNEW HOW VALUEABLE HE WAS.. MY PRAYER FOR MERLE AMD FAMILY
