Cox, William T. “Bill”, 80 of Middletown passed away on February 10th, 2018 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born on June 15, 1937 in Holton, IN to Esta Lee & Grace Magdalene (Hines) Cox. Bill retired from Slab Mill Maintenance at Armco Steel in 1994 after 32 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and woodworker. He played football, track, wrestled and was on the swim team at MHS. Bill was one of the Founding Fathers of Middletown Pee Wee Football Program in 1955 with 25 years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara (Hannah) Cox; his children, Tim (Shauna) Cox, Terry (Adrienne) Cox, Todd (Kelly) Cox and Tricia (Estil) Cox-Johnson; his grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Nemcic, Brandon Johnson, Mercedees (Craig) Hensley, Derek Cox, Madeline Cox, Phillip Cox, Zachary Cox, Macy Brooks, Matthew Cox, Joseph Cox and Harley Brooks; his Great-Grandchildren, Blayke Hensley and Les Nemcic; Sisters, Peggy (Bob) Swartz and Norma (Ken) Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and friends and Long- time Friend, Bill Davidson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and son, Thomas E. Cox. A receiving of Friends will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10:00 am – Noon at New Covenant Church, 4340 Union Road, Middletown, OH 45005 with a Memorial Service at Noon with Pastor Kevin McGuire officiating.
