Charlene Dunn

Dunn, Charlene Jean (Root), age 80, of Middletown, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017. She was born March 4, 1937 in Middletown, OH to Charles and Marjorie (Jones) Root. She graduated from Middletown High School in 1955 and retired from Armco Steel Company. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren. Charlene is survived by her children, Beth (Hefner) Campbell (Kenny), Melanie (Dunn) Kay (David), Robert Dunn (Miki), Tammy (Dunn) Cummings (Ryan); grandchildren, Kemberly, Timothy, Tiana, Ericka, Kaitlyn, Jaryd, Cassandra, Tonya, Summer, Brittany and Paige; 34 great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert Scott, Anthony Root. She is preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jenni Dishman officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
