Rosie B Cox

Cox. Rosie B., age 98, of Madison Township, passed away Thursday, February
22, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born July 22, 1919 in Wolfe County, KY to Leander and Matilda (Hollon) Peck. She was a homemaker. Rosie was a member of Towne Blvd. Church of God, Senior Citizens, and Jolly Sixties. Rosie is survived by her daughter, Judy Kay Murphy; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Reva Moore. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Cox Sr.; sons, James M. Cox Jr., Billy Joe Cox, Jackie Ray Cox; grandson, Eli Ford; brothers, Charlie, Hiram, Clayton, Leander Peck Jr.; sister, Lottie Tapley. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, OH 45005. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 12:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Linda McClanahan officiating. Interment will be at Germantown Cemetery.
